Today I want to remind you that you are a peculiar treasure and God's priced possession. God will be an enemy to your enemy. God will bless the work of your hands. God wil take sickness away from you, God will prolong your days upon this earth. God will drive away your enemies. God will continue to love , bless and multiply you in all ways. God will bless you anywhere you go, in the city, in the Country and all over the land.God's blessings will be upon your household, your income and all your efforts in Jesus Name. You are special!

I want to invite you to AMAZING GRACE ASSEMBLY OF GOD at 2528 Oates Drive, Mesquite Teas, 75150 Special Annual Thanksgiving Service coming up on November 21, 2010 @ 10am. GOD WILL MAKE A WAY FOR YOU! Hab 3:17-19

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines, the labor of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the Lord. I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.

God will make a way where there is no way. In the desert, wilderness, mountain, valley and in times of adversity, he will make a way. He made a way for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David, Daniel, Meshark, Shedrack and Abadnego. He will make a way for you. All you have to do is believe Him. Rejoice! Rejoice!! Rejoice!!!

The Lord has promised not to leave you or forsake you. Heb 13:5.
The Lord said we should rejoice. Phil 4:4 Rejoice in the morning, afternoon, evening and night.Nothing shall separate you from the love of God Rom. 8:28-31

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the first born among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called, and whom he called, them he also justified, and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

The Lord has given you the keys to the kingdom. The keys to unlock the riches of this word. The problem is that some of us are trying to open the right door with the wrong key. That will not be your portion in Jesus Name.

I release the anointing of God upon your life. When God’s anointing comes upon you, you won’t be intimidated by fear of failure. God’s anointing gives you divine capability! God’s anointing prepares you for the satanic confrontation that is coming! God’s anointing prepares you to stand against every attacks of the enemy. Isaiah 54;17 and I John 4:4.

In examining the story of Naaman the leper, we begin by looking at his condition. "Naaman, commander of the army of ... Syria , was a great...man...but a leper." In spite of his past victories and present honors, he had a hidden problem that wouldn't stay hidden long. Left un-dealt with, it would eventually destroy him. Can you relate? Today the odds may be in your favor. You've graduated from the best university, you've a good family, you've built a church or business, or climbed to the top in your career. Yet before you can qualify for greater blessings God will force you to deal with a condition that 's hidden beneath your armour. Outstanding people in every occupation, particularly spiritual ones go through it. It's what sets them apart. It's what ushers them across the bridge from mediocre to exceptional. Without obstacles we will always be ordinary! We're not talking about petty little problems. We're talking about issues so overwhelming you can't sleep; gut-wrenching things that cause your heart to skip a beat and make you fear 'this is the one that's going to take me out!" It's the thing you pray about in secret. It's what you don't want people to see. So like Naaman, you wear your "brass," then go home and agonize over your condition. Understand this: God teaches some of His greatest lessons in the valleys of life. That's where you learn to lie prostrate before Him, weeping and broken. It's where you pray: "God, don't let this thing destroy me. Deal with it through the power of your spirit." And here's the good news: that kind of prayer brings deliverance. You are an overcomer. I write to each of you today on behalf of the 1,200 refugees who live in Shiloh Village in East Dallas. The refugees who live there arrived in the U.S. as a result of war, or religious and political persecution in their native country. The refugees arrive in Houston and then are resettled in several cities in the U.S. (of which Dallas is one). The agency that sponsors them into the U.S. receives funds from the federal government for 90 days of care. Beyond that each refugee is on his or her own. The refugees at Shiloh Village have fallen through the cracks in the system and we are working to fill those gaps.

Amazing Grace Assembly of God, in Mesquite, Texas has formed the Center for Immigration and Refugee Assistance to minister food, clothing, transportation, job referrals, ESL and life skills classes to the people at Shiloh Village. Language barriers have hindered. Having many families live in the same apartment has created a barrier to receiving food stamps for some families. We are taking a team of 20 volunteers to Shiloh Village on June 26 to interview every family to determine the needs of the people.Systematically we work to help meet those needs with the goal being to help each refugee to attain self-sufficiency and become a resource to help future refugees to easily assimilate into our society (Dallas receives about 1,000 immigrants through this gateway each year). Do you have any kind of spiritual belief? In your opinion, who is Jesus? Do you believe that there is a Heaven and Hell? If you were to die right now, where would you go? Do you believe you are a sinner? Would you like God to forgive all your sins? Do you believe Jesus died for you on the cross and paid for all your sins? Are you willing to give your life completely and repent of all your sins? Are you ready to invite Jesus into your life and your heart to be your Lord and Savior forever?

Prayer!

I want forgiveness for all my sins. I repent of all known sins and turn 100% of my life to you Jesus. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me and rose again. Father, I give You my whole life to do with as You wish, forever. I surrender what I want, what I think, what I feel and choose to completely obey You! I ask You, Jesus, to come into my life and heart, cleanse me in Your blood and be my Lord and Savior from this day on and forever. Jesus Christ is Lord of my life! Amen.

"GOD WILL HELP HER AT BREAK OF DAY."

When your world is suddenly turned upside down, remember, God's plans for your life haven't been cancelled! When you are trapped with no way out, here are some things to remember:
(1) Look for the river. "There is a river whose streams make glad" (Ps 46:4 NIV). In Old Testamant symbolism, rivers represent God's supply for your every need. When every human source of supply seems to have dried up, don't fear, look for the river.
(2) Look for the city. God has planted His "city...the holy place where the Most High dwells" (v.4 NIV), right in the middle of your circumstances. God's city, the symbol of His presence and power, guarantees He's still in control and that He will restore peace and order to your troubled world..
(3) Look for the signs of God's presence. "God will help [you] at break of day" (v.5 NIV). Daybreak, a symbol of new beginnings, gives you confidence that beyond this time of trouble of and testing, a new day is at hand. 'Great is his faithfullness; his mercies begin afresh each morning" (La 3:23 NLT). Keep up the faith, be strong and know that God is ever present with you in time of trouble. God said...Don't look to the bigness of your need, look to the bigness of your God. Your circumstances are hinderances to seeing God's abilities. If you keep your eyes on your circumstances, the devil will use your circumstances to defeat you and accuse the word of God...the written and the living word. Your victory is in keeping your eyes on the bigness of your God and His ability. He has promised to take you step by step...not all at once but step by step and each step will be a miracle! "He hath said, so that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me." Hebrewa 13:5,6. Believe and act today. One of the greatest sins in the world today is procratination-"putting things off" Act now!

God told me to tell you this: Get your eyes off your circumstances. The devil will use them to defeat you. ..."let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith..." Heb 12: 1-2. Get your eyes on the bigness of your God...Let Him take you step by step. Each step will be a MIRACLE. God ministered to me with those words, and with those words He lifted the veil so that I could see clearly ... and I pray that you see clearly. God is greater than any circumstances that could ever affect our lives. As you absorb that fact, as it becomes a part of your great inner knowing, something will happen in your life. Infact...something is happening...now!

Amazing One Year

As we step into another year, the course ahead is un-charted. There are many challenges ahead but God will see us through. What hangs in the balance is the salvation of multitudes of people that’s why we embark on aggressive Evangelism and Outreach. Some of our ministry goals this year include:

1) Missions: With heart full of joy, we thank members of the church and our friends for their love and support as we get ready to make our first Mission trip to Africa. We need volunteers to go with us as well as financial support for those who want to go but cannot afford it. We have been able to reach out to many nations including, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Zambia, Uganda, and Kenya., Cameroon, Sudan, Somalia, Burundi and Eritrea. Many are yet to be reached and we need your support.

Church Building: You are aware that we are meeting in a rented facility and are believing God to acquire our own building. Pray for us and be part of the move for God to bless us with our own property. God will reward you abundantly

Our hearts to Jesus, our eyes to the harvest

God is building a new church. With abundant joy and abundant grace, I am pleased to announce the One Year Anniversary-a new church in Mesquite, Texas. We will be launching Amazing Grace in May 2009. As we embark in the process of building a new church, our church holds the promise of growth and the opportunity for everyone to build with us.

Our desire is to be a racially diverse group, a multi racial church with solid, caring relationships. Our goal is to make an eternal impact in our community. We are a gathering of people helping our neighbors discover the newness of life found in being a Jesus follower. On February 15th, 2009, we started small. The best thing about being small is that when great things happen, no one gets the credit but God. And today, great things are happening and we are getting bigger. To God be the glory.

Successful Anniversary

Our Anniversary celebration was great. The three days program was powerful. The three guest ministers were awesome. Sunday 3/7/10 was a day to remember. The attendance was about 550 and people were blessed. The praise 7 worship were super. The message was inspiring. To God be the glory. I apologize for the short break in communication on my blog page. The anniversary celebration took most of my time but now I am back.

AMAZING GRACE ASSEMBLY OF GOD REFUGEE MINISTRY

CENTER FOR AFRICAN REFUGEES AND IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE (CARIA)

Our church plant is in Mesquite Texas. It is the conviction from. Based on the conviction that we have been called by God to be the light of the world and salt of the earth, we have started a Refugee/Immigration Ministry here in DFW. The United States of America in the FY 2009 accepted 80,000 Refugees. Over 20,000 of them are here in Texas and about 9,000 here in the DFW area.

Many of us may not quite understand who is a refugee. That calls for the following questions:

Who is a refugee? A refugee is a person who, “...owing to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social or political opinion, outside the country of his nationality and unable or, owing to such fear, is unwilling to avail himself of the protection of that country.

Where are they from? Refugee families come to Dallas from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Burma, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Democratic Republic of Congo, Togo, Sudan, Burundi, Eritrea, Somalia, Cuba, Nepal and other areas of conflict.

What services does Amazing Grace provide to the refugees? We provide resettlement; employment referrals and education to help families and individuals become independent and self sufficient. All our services are free and it also includes teaching English as a second language (ESL), cultural orientation, Adjustment counseling, school registration, family support services, job readiness, budget planning, referrals for social security, Health referrals, English classes referrals, TXIDs & WIC referrals, job skills training, case management, mentoring, youth programs, Immigration referrals and advocacy. But the primary aim of this ministry to every refugees is to share the gospel, witness to the gospel, preach the gospel, communicate the gospel, present the gospel, enable them to hear the gospel, reach them with the gospel, and give them opportunity to respond to the gospel.

What are the items they need? Most importantly, they need financial assistance, prayer and love. Other needs include:
Shampoo, Bath soap, Dish soap, Toothpaste and Toothbrushes, Razors and Shaving Cream, Diapers (sizes 1-5) Gift Cards for Kroger/Carnival/Fiesta, Wal-Mart, DART bus tickets, Furniture e.g. Cribs, Dinning Tables & Chairs, Dressers, Lamps, Sofas, Brooms & Dustpans, Laundry Detergent, Deodorant (men/women) Shower Curtain Liners & Rings, Flatware Pots and Pans, Large cooking pots, Dishes, Mixing and serving bowls, Cooking spoons, spatulas, other utensils, Can Openers & Vegetable peelers, Colander/Strainer, Towels & Washcloths, Sheets (twin, double queen & king), Blankets (twin, double, queen and king), Pillows, Alarm cloths & radios, toys, coffee Makers & Teapots, Vacuum cleaners, computers, printers and electronics. We ensure that we provide them with food; basic furnishings and we are actively involved in meeting them at the Airport, and providing them transportation as they arrive. As soon as we settle them in, we take them for grocery shopping within their first three days in this country. Assist with obtaining Social Security card, Medicaid, and we teach them English as a second language.

URGENT NEED FOR TRANSPORTATION.
Our Refugee Ministry requires lots of running around, driving, carrying all the items we donate to them, picking up donated items and picking up the refugees to church. We are a small new ministry and cannot afford to buy a van at this point. We are therefore making a desperate appeal to all churches, ministers and individuals all over this country to assist in donating a van or in giving us a financial gift to purchase a van. We need at least three vans at this point but can use anything in the form of transportation for a start. We are an Ethnic Multicultural new church with a big vision but are seriously hindered by finances. I pray that God will open a door and grant us favor through you in Jesus Name. The Refuges stories are sad. Once uprooted, refugees and displaced people embark on a perilous journey. They flee in small groups smuggled out in the night, and in long, weary columns tramping across scorched earth. They fling themselves onto leaky boats and hand up their babies to strangers leaning from beating helicopters or hissing trains. We at AMAZING GRACE A/G know their stories as immigrants ourselves. We therefore have stepped up to be an answer to the cries of the oppressed, but we cannot do it alone. You can help. Many people become refugees as a result of war, economic crisis, food shortages, global warming or environmental catastrophes. This church has made a commitment to saving lives and helping refugees and all displaced people on their journey from harm to home. We need your help.

Just recently, a refugee from NEPAL said to me, “Everyone in my village fled during the conflict. The village became an overgrown fields and broken houses. Our village economy is very bad and the literacy rate almost 90%. I am thankful for America helping me escape the refugee camp. I now have hope and a chance to live a better life. I am grateful to America. I pray they find my wife and two babies who are lost in Nepal”.

Amazing Grace is a church planted to reach every living person in the world with the gospel. To set the captives free in Jesus Name. To utilize every visible method of taking and sending the Christian good news to the entire world. To show unconditional love to others by caring and sharing. To always remember that God has placed the world in our hearts. He has given us a responsive, dangerous, and opportune moment in history. Genesis 1:26-30. He is loving us to love a lost world... He desires to use us and bless us. My prayer is that God will use us fully as we keep the whole world in view.

Daniel-the man of Dedication

DANIEL 6: 1-28

No one lives for God without being persecuted. No one lives for God without being misunderstood and criticized. A simple formula for a successful Christian life is: (1) Dedication, (2) Devotion, (3) Discipline, (4) Determination. Daniel had all these.

Daniels disposition (verse 1-5)
a. Preference (verse 1-3). He was chosen above others because of his excellent spirit. He pleased God.
b. Perfection 9verse 4,5). Not sinless perfection-he pleased God in his living (Matthew 5:48)

His difficulty (verse 6-9)
a. The scheme. If anyone obeyed or served any other king, he would come to all who live for God (2 Timothy 3:12).
b. The signing. The king, not fully understanding the motive behind the plan, signed his name. The order could not be changed. Stop praying or face the lions? What a choice. I just want to water your apetite. Check out subsequent series on Daniel for more on this amazing man of God.

Faith does not move God, God is already moved. Faith puts you in a position to receive what God has given by grace...
Galatians 3:8-And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, "All the nations shall be blessed in you."
Acts 4:33-and with great power the apostles were giving witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all.

Titus 2:11-For grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men. Amazing Grace, how sweet!

The Goal Line!

If God's people will see nothing but the goal line, will accept nothing but victory, will pay any price, will suffer any hurt and hardship, will refuse to be discouraged or disheartened, we cannot help but win; because we are charged with the power of God's Holy Spirit. There are somethings money will do; there are some things human effort will do; there are some things human ingenuity will do; but there are some things only God can do. I want to remind you that no one ever achieved greatness without human opposition. We need people today who will say, "We can, we must, we will!" Are you ready to be one of such people? The overcomer is one who is knocked down nine times, but gets up ten. It is not the boulders ahead of us that wear us down. It is often the grain of sand in our shoe. God never puts more on us than He puts in us to bear up every burden. There are far more valleys than mountain tops in the Christian life. God sends us two bad days every good day in order to keep us looking towards Him. God has a vision for you. Don't ever quit. Let your vision become an obsessive reality.

Feeding The Hungry

It is fun when our Daddy, the ALMIGHTY GOD lifts us on high and carries us in His hands. God will lift you on high, Amen! When the devil tries to scare you, and comes like a mean, old lion or an ugly snake, or a wicked dragon, when you're afraid, declare the Name of the Lord that is a strong tower, where the righteous runs into and is saved. When it comes to temptation, remeber these seven things: (1) Never say "never." You never become so spiritual that you're immune. "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able , but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it" (1Cor 10:13 NKJV). (2) Realize you can stumble on the last lap. Because you haven't blown it yet, doesn't mean you can't. Satan is a master of timing, and he's in no particular hurry. (3) Acknowledge your basic drives. St. Augustine said, "There is nothing more powerful in bringing more power in bringing down the spirit of a man than the caresses of a woman." YOUR FLESH IS POWERFUL; ONCE INDULGED IT WILL ALWAYS WANT MORE. (4) Understand that you are responsible.Sin is a choice. When you choose to abuse God's grace you pay the price, either now or later. 'Do not be deceived...whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" Gal 6:7 NKJV). (5) You're not a helpless pawn.You may not be able to change what happened yesterday, but your choice, empowered by God's grace, will determine what happens today and tomorrow. (6) If you've sinned there's hope. God will forgive you and use you again. Jesus told Peter, " I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, srengthen your brethren" (Lk 22: 32 NKJV). (7) Stay safe by staying close to God. "Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

ENCOURAGEMENT TO PRAY

Here I am in my hotel room in New Jersy and God put it in my heart to write to you about prayer. I am offering you prayer as a way to grow and develop a regular relationship with God. Communion with God is the one need of the soul beyond all other need: prayer is the beginning of that communion, some need in your life creates the motive for that urge to pray. Payer is talking to God. I've contemplatively prayed. I've prayed lithurgically. I've interceded and petitioned. The first model of prayer I learned as a new believer was ACTS: ADORATION, CONFESSION, THANKSGIVING, SUPPLICATION. I've prayed in various ways and has seen God work many miracles. I pray you experience miracle each time you pray in Jesus Name! Whenever you pray, present yourself to God without pretense. Be a real person in your relationship with God. Tell Him whatever is going on in your life sincerely. Attend to how you are thinking of God. Again, no pretending. Purge yourself of anything blocking your relationship with God. Approach God as the first thing in your life. May God bless you and keep praying without ceasing.

He always was, He always is and He always will be...Unmoved, Unchanged, Undefeated, and never Undone! He was bruised and brought healing! He was pierced and eased pain! He was dead and brought life! He is risen and brings power! He reigns and brings peace! The world can't understand Him, the armies can't defeat Him, The schools can't explain Him, and the leaders can't ignore Him.

Herod couldn't kill Him, The Pharisees couldn't confuse Him. And the people could'nt hold Him! Nero could'nt crush Him! Hitler could'nt silence Him, The New Age can't replace Him! He is light, love, longevity and Lord. He is goodness, Kindness, Gentleness, and God. He is Holy, Righteous, Mighty, Powerful and Pure. His ways are right. His word is eternal, His will is unchanging and His mind is on me.

Shoes for orphans

As you read this, I pray that the Lord will bless you abundantly in Jesus Name. The Lord has put a big burden in my heart to collect, purchase and send shoes to orphans in Africa. This burden was birthed in my heart few months ago as I was distributing educational supplies to school children during my trip as I have always done in 8 years. For some reason, the Lord directed my attention to the children as they all lined up during the distribution of the educational supplies. Guess what I saw! I saw that almost 90% of them were not wearing any shoes. My heart was broken as I looked at their worn out, cracked tiny feet, as they ran around in jubilation that I brought them pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, books etc. Here the Lord was opening my eyes to see a greater need. He Knows You!

"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." Jeremiah 29:11

I knew you before time began. I know how many hairs are on your head. Like parent, like child, you are created in My image. I have plans for you. I've also given you the 'gifts' needed to fulfill them: and I what I give, nobody can take away. But don't neglect them: exercise them, and stir them up daily. Rest assured, I've started a good work in you and I'm going to finish it. I always complete what I begin. My word concerning you is forever settled, and My commitment to you is unending. In this life you will have challenges, but cheer up: I've robbed Satan of his power to control you and the world of its power to destroy you. When you're stressed out and worn down by pressures of life, lean on Me. I will be your rock, your fortress, your deliverer and your srength. Even though you fall from time to time, you won't be discarded because I am upholding you. But a word of caution: don't take advice from those who are spiritually blind and don't hang out with skeptics. Delight yourself in My Word and like a big oak tree growing by a river, you'll prosper in all you do.

God's Divine Healing Power!

A new wave of God's divine healing and anointing has been released upon the Body of Christ! As I was preaching in Europe last few months, God showed me that waves of His divine healing power, like mighty waves of the ocean, were going to sweep over the Body of Chrsit and engulf us. God spoke to me and said, "Son, I am going to heal my Church." God revealed to me that this wave of God's healing power was not going to be a 'surface" healing, but that it was going to be a DEEP HEALING. There is a five fold prophecy from God on His power that is being released.

1.We are in God's Endtime Harvesttime, and God gave us a promise that a NEW STRENGTH is coming into the body of Christ. God is going to cleanse and bring His church to a new position of FULL, COMPLETE WHOLENESS...spirit...soul...body!

2. It is God's time now for the church to be healed!

3. A new authority and a new power over all the power of the enemy is coming to God's people! The weak that have been struggling to overcome temptation and sin in their lives are going to become spiritually strong!

4. Many who are crippled, bound by pain, physically diseased...cancers, blood conditions, diabetes, heart diseases, AIDS...are going to rise off beds of affliction. This will be a sovereign act or work of God.

5. The true Body of Christ will rise from its current weak condition to become a powerful endtime Army, motivated and empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill God's purposes.

How Amazing to be at Amazing Grace

The choice of the Disciples

Jesus disciples were criticized for their lack of manners. Did you know that? Specifically, they failed to wash their hands before eating. Now, today, this would be considered poor hygiene. In Jesus' time, it was considered poor religion. The Jewish ritual of that day was to ceremonially cleanse oneself before eating meals. Isn'nt it interesting, how many of the practices of the law have turned out to be beneficial? These disciples were chosen not out of their super intelligence or accomplishments. But rather, Jesus saw possibilities in them that those who criticized them did not see. Jesus decided to turn this into a teaching opportunity. You have been chosen and no man can take that away from you. You may not be perfect but you are God's child and that is what matters.

Prayer for Breakthrough!

Say this prayer with me: I testify to Satan and his host as to what the Word says the blood of Jesus does for me. Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil. Through the blood of Jesus, all my sins are forgiven. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's son, continually cleanses me from all sin. Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made righteous, just-as-if-I'd never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus, I am sanctified, made holy, set apart to God. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, redeemed, cleansed by the blood of Jesus. Satan has no place in me, no power over me, through the blood of Jesus! I have overcome satan by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony and I love not my life even unto death. Rev.12:11. I present my body, a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is my reasonable service. I do not conform to this world but I am transformed by the renewing of my mind that I may prove what is good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Rom. 12:1-2. May the Lord grant you the desires of your heart, order your steps and cause His face to shine upon you. Amen.

The Power of Intercession

United prayer has more to do with heart attitudes than mass movements. Sanctified hearts, fervent prayers together, attract the presence of God. When we pray in specific terms, we begin to see a dramatic loosening of the enemy's stronghold on our lives. "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against...spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." Eph 6:12 God never leaves His people without hope. He always provides the resources that are necessary to meet the challenges at hand. Intercessors can collect valuable information through the discipline of waiting on God. The focal point of our prayers should be God, not the devil. I encourage you to pray without ceasing. May the Almighty God continue to lead your life because if God is not leading your life, then somebody else is. Apart from God, we can do absolutely nothing. We need to be focused in our pursuit of the presence of God because pursuit is the evidence of our desire for God. The only way we can overcome is through praying-praying for one another, and asking God to give us victory over all the powers of the enemy.

The Great Promise

Nothing can be more certain than the promises of God himself. All the promises of our covenant God are ours to have and to hold as our personal possession. I like in my time of trouble to find a promise which exactly fits my need. The strength of prayer lies in your faith in the promise which you have pleaded before the Lord. We ourselves are living witnesses that God does not forget His word. God gives good things to men according to His promise. This is a matter of fact and a not a mere opinion of mine. We must not measure God by the rule of our feelings. In Christ we have continual peace under trials. The things promised in the covenant are already the property of the believers. No man comes to the Faithful Promiser but by Jesus Christ. We are without life, without light, without hope, and without peace if we are without God. Freely according to the riches of His grace, God promises salvation and eternal life to all who believe in His son Jesus Christ. If men loved good works as much as they pretend to do, they would love the faith which produces them.None can enter heaven who claim it by their own doings or boast that they have won it by their own stength. Glory is reserved for those who are saved by grace, and none who trust in self can enter there.

What Do You Do When You Can't Do Anything?

Have you ever felt you were in a situation where there was no way out? Circumstances of life sometimes seem to bring us to a dead-end street. When it seems there is no way out, God can make a way.

Israel at the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21)
The Israelites were there because God put them there (verse 2)
Solution: "Lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand" (verse 16, KJV). Today, God want you to stretch out. Stand and see further afar off. You are approaching your destination. Just one more step. Lifted hands mean many things--supplication, praise, surrender, authority. Some say "Throw up our hands." God says, "Lift up your hands." If God put you there, move forward in Him.

Jonah in the belly of the fish (Jonah 2:1-10)
Jonah was there because he put himself there.
Solution: Lifted up his voice in prayer of supplication (2:9). William Cowper tried suicide nine times before he wrote, "There is a fountain filled with the blood drawn from Immanuel's veins, and sinners plunged beneath that flood lose all their guilty stains." You may be in a situation of rebellion against God. You have gotten yourself in a place that seems a dead-end street. There is a way out: a prayer of surrender.

Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail (Acts 16:22-24)
Paul and Silas were there because the world put them there.
Solution: Voices lifted in praise (verses 25,26). The world may try to shut you up or shut you in, but lift up your voice in praise to God who reigns on high.

CONCLUSSION
You may be in difficulty because (1) God put you there; (2) you put yourself there; (3) the world put you there. Way out: (1) Lift up your hands; (2) lift up your voice in prayer; (3) lift up a song of praise. Inthe world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16: 33, KJV).

Forgive and Be Fervent in the Love of God

Most things that come against us are little anthills. But the devil wants us to dwell on them. And when we dwell on them day after day, those little anthills become mountains that we made. Sometimes we don't control our emotions or our thought life. We take the bait of offence, we won't let go, and we become victims of the devil. Unforgiveness is not a luxury that you can afford to have!

If you've got unforgiveness toward anyone, repent and pray for the one who has offended you. Be fervent in the love of God. Pray in the Holy Ghost-let that river of life rise up within you-and you'll be able to resist the devil. You'll be able to resist the offence, your life will get better, and people around you will be attracted to you because you're full of love and life of God.
